Datil Pepper Seeds
The beautiful Datil Pepper is mostly found here in the United States in St. Augustine, Florida. Local legend says the peppers were originally brought there from Spain or Chile. Each October, there is a festival in St. Augustine celebrating these unique peppers.
The Hot 3 1/2 in. peppers ripen to a bright, orange yellow. The heat is comparable to habanero types, but the flavor is sweeter and more fruity. Popularly used to create hot sauces, jellies and mustards. It's a must-grow in your garden! It can be container grown and may require support.
