A seasonal release of fresh peppers grown on a small urban micro-farm in Pittsburgh and harvested at peak ripeness.

The Hood Garden Pepper Collection features a curated mix of flavorful pepper varieties selected for their unique taste, vibrant color, and culinary versatility. From bright citrusy ajis to rich Caribbean-style peppers and productive cayenne varieties, this box celebrates the incredible diversity of peppers grown on our urban micro-farm.

Each shipment is harvested fresh during peak season and carefully packed before shipping. The peppers will be separated in their own reusable bags, You will also receive tips, recipes, and notes on heat levels, flavor profiles, ways to store, save seeds and grow your own!

Your purchase includes two peak-season shipments:

Each shipment contains approximately 2.5–3 lbs of fresh peppers.

All peppers in the Hood Garden Pepper Collection are grown using organic gardening principles.

We focus on building healthy soil, using natural inputs, and avoiding synthetic pesticides and herbicides whenever possible. Our goal is to grow peppers that are not only flavorful and vibrant, but also produced in a way that respects the soil, the environment, and the community we grow in.

🌎 Sustainable Packaging

Your peppers will arrive carefully packed using sustainable packaging materials.

Each variety is packed in reusable cloth produce bags, allowing airflow during shipping and giving you a reusable bag for your kitchen or farmers market trips after enjoying the peppers.

Boxes are packed using recyclable or compostable materials whenever possible.
